Hey, dolls! My name is Sarah Bomicino and I am a returning Style Guru for this spring 2017 semester. A little bit about myself is that I attend Saint Xavier University of Chicago for a new major this semester: communications with a focus on journalism and television broadcast. My ultimate dream would be moving to California to work with E! News in anyway possible once I graduate! Along with a change in major, I recently began a new venture in my career of modeling and signed with my mother agency Dollhouse Management in Miami! I am crazy excited to see what this year brings and hope to make the best out of every opportunity that comes my way!
Last semester I was able to learn a lot through my CollegeFashionista internship as a Style Guru and I am eager to showcase all of my new ideas to all my fellow peers! My love and passion for fashion has grown immensely which is great for my wardrobe but not as great for my on a college budget! With that being said, this semester I am going to try my best to showcase fashion forward outfits at an affordable cost to make it more relatable and accessible to anyone looking to recreate an outfit or simply be inspired to create their own!
I would have to say my own personal style is classic with an edgy twist to it. My style icon would most definitely have to be Brigitte Bardot who pushed the envelope in fashion and really paved the way for some of the biggest trends we still see in our time! I try to get inspired by her looks and recreate them while keeping our latest style trends in mind. For this look, I kept it simple and chic with black jeans paired with a black turtleneck and a black and white detail winter coat. I chose to keep the accessories simple and paired diamond stud earrings with a fur scarf to keep warm here in Chicago! Lastly, I topped the entire outfit off with a pair of black criss-cross strap pointed-toe pumps.
I cant wait to be inspired by all my fellow Fashionista’s and Fashionisto’s this spring, let’s have a fun and memorable semester!
