Hello Fashionistas! My name is Sarah Carrillo, and I am a sophomore at Ithaca College. I am a communications management and design major with a concentration in corporate and a minor in integrated marketing. I am beyond thrilled to continue my journey with CollegeFashionista and excited to announce that I am also a part of the Social Media Society team.
Pictured above, I am wearing a leopard faux fur coat, leggings, my favorite boots, a chunky scarf and a sweater. Many times i’ll end up borrowing items from my mom’s closet, like the sweater and those pieces end up becoming my favorite. I am constantly trying to think of ways that pieces can become my own style, and how I can add my own unique flare.
When I’m not studying at Ithaca College, I’m home in New York City. The city has by far been my biggest influence when it comes to fashion and how I see it. I think it’s a beautiful art form that allows others to express themselves without words. I definitely think I bring some of the city’s flare with me here to Ithaca.
When I’m not online looking at blogs here on CollegeFashionista or scrolling through Instagram, I’m discovering new music and binge watching Netflix series.
With a year behind me at college and a semester as a Style Guru, I am more then ready to start the spring semester with CollegeFashionista. This campus is filled with amazing people that have such unique senses of style, and I am psyched to share it with all of you! Good luck to all of you on your spring semester!
