Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! It’s that time again. We are gearing up for a whole new season in fashion. The “Is” have been dotted, the color of the season has been chosen, the spring 2015 trend reports are in and now it is time to rock our looks.
But, before we walk down the runway, welcome back! Last season was quite a stunner and this experience was indeed a great one for both you and me. However, allow me to re-introduce myself for my new readers. My name is Serenity Martin or affectionately known as Serenity Mariah. I am a junior at Columbia College Chicago studying Fashion Business with a Marketing Communications minor. Along with being a full time student and resident assistant, I am a fierce Style Guru here at CollegeFashionista. Thus, I will be bringing you the fiercest, finest, most fashionable candidates from my campus and sharing their style stories with you.
I absolutely adore fashion, art and entertainment. For as long as I could remember I’ve been hooked. I am definitely ecstatic about spring 2015 fashion. Trend reports have stated the color yellow is back, cooling culottes, shirt dresses, icy white from head to toe—just to name a few. My season fashion goal is to update my wardrobe completely. Out with the old and in with the new. I will be getting rid of old pieces that have not sustained time and building a collection that is versatile, classic, chic, professional and me of course!
