My name is Shelbi Harris and I am a sophomore Journalism major at Georgia State University. I am so happy to be returning for my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista.
My first semester as a Style Guru was definitely a learning experience and I am so grateful to be able to work with such an amazing brand. CollegeFashionista has provided me with the opportunity to gain experience with writing and allow me to further my interest in my career path.
Since starting college I’ve struggled to decide what career I want to pursue and after a semester with CollegeFashionista, I have realized that fashion is definitely an area that I want to stick with. Since I go to such a diverse school, spotting Fashionistas and Fashionistos was so much fun and allowed me to meet some new faces on campus.
I have seen so many different styles and have fallen in love with every outfit I’ve seen. I don’t have a set style, my style changes on a daily basis and I think that’s what keeps fashion interesting. During the fall semester I wore a lot of dark colors so I am excited to start exploring with color this upcoming spring semester.
Although it’s still going to be cold for a while, I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can finally start wearing warm clothes. I’m especially excited to sport some printed kimonos, classic jean shorts and detailed sandals.
