Hi Fashionistas! My name is Shelbi and I am excited to be back working with CollegeFashionista for a third semester! I am a junior at Georgia State University and have recently changed my major to Marketing with a minor in Journalism and Spanish. Despite my change in studies, I still hope to work with a fashion magazine or in the public relations industry when I graduate. When I first started college, I struggled to decide what career path I wanted to pursue, but I decided to follow my passion and that led me to where I am today. Fashion has been the only thing that I have been passionate about and I love everything about it.
My style is constantly changing, which I like. I never want to be the person that only sticks to one style or follows the trend. I think the best part of fashion is trying different pieces that are out of your comfort zone and watching yourself evolve. The outfit that I am wearing, shown above, features the new palazzo pants that I recently purchased and fell in love with. They are perfect for a school day and having the cute but casual look. To keep it simple, I wore a tank top and sandals. I also added a dainty feather necklace and a mix of bracelets. Lastly, I wore my wayfarer Ray-Ban sunglasses.
This semester I hope to bring my best work and showcase all of the unique fashion that the students of Georgia State have to offer. I can’t wait to have an awesome semester and be the best Style Guru that I can be. Until next time!
