What’s black, white and chic all over? You guessed it, this outfit. If you open my closet you will probably find yourself wondering if you have entered an old black and white film. Neutrals are classic, never go out of style and are versatile pieces to every Fashionistas/os wardrobe.
Typically, you will find me in an all-black ensemble, so adding white pants to the mix is a step out of my typical dress. However, in the name of spring fashion, I felt the white added a crisp touch to this outfit. Additionally, a pop of color is essential to creating any neutral ensemble. Since I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, I decided to add this adorable orange bag (Go Vols!). In fact, the versatility of this outfit allows you to take it to a casual tailgate or a night on the town. You have got to love neutrals!
Now, we need to talk about these shoes. If you have never purchased a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes, you should be running to Nordstrom right now to do so. These shoes are a splurge, but they are worth it! Suede is also a huge trend right now, and these shoes are a perfect way to integrate that trend into your wardrobe.
Some of you might be thinking my simplistic, neutral wardrobe will make for some rather snooze-worthy posts. However, I plan to integrate my creativity into my posts for CollegeFashionista and push myself out of my comfort zone. I have plenty of resources to integrate some rad style into my posts because of all the trendy Fashionistas here on Rocky Top!
Well, now I’m off to the pool to enjoy this Tennessee summer heat. Get ready for some great posts headed your way Fashionistas/os, and follow me on social media in order to see my posts on my personal fashion and lifestyle blog, SheLocke.
