Hello, CollegeFashionista readers! My name is Shelby Stivale, and this is my third Style Guru Bio for CollegeFashionista! I couldn’t be more excited to continue to be on the Style Guru team and share my fashion tips with all the avid readers.
I’m currently on winter break, but I will be starting my spring semester at Indiana University in January. I am part of the new and improved Media School at IU, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Apparel Merchandising. If you’re familiar with Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, then you know exactly the job I’m aspiring for (except I’ll be much nicer).
Along with being a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, I’m also a skimm’bassador for theSkimm, a member of both the fundraising committee for the Indiana University Dance Marathon and the Retail Studies Organization. In my free time, I love to read and I’m an avid Twitter user. I also spend way too much time reading E! News, obsessing over the length of Harry Styles’ hair and trying to achieve the perfect Kylie Jenner lip.
Since it’s winter, my favorite thing in the world is wearing sweaters and scarves. This particular sweater is from Brandy Melville, but I recommend any sweater from Urban Outfitters. Also, as I said, scarves are my favorite winter accessory. This black knit infinity scarf is from Francesca’s, which has a wide variety of many different scarves. I refer to this purse as my “Saint Laurent bag” because that’s what I wish it were. Not everyone can afford to buy such a luxurious item, though, so I purchased this black bag from Charming Charlie’s.
