Hello, dear readers. My name is Sidney, and I am a Public Relations major and Spanish minor at Ball State University. It is a dream to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team, and I am beyond excited to show you some of the great fashion on Ball State’s campus.
Fashion is such an inspiring art form, and I have always been infatuated with it. I would say that my style is very much my own—quirky and eclectic. My belief is that fashion should suit your mood/personality/lifestyle. Honestly, fashion should display the “you” that you are.
That’s probably one of the reasons why my style is so hard to put a finger on. Some days it is a very polished, “Audrey Hepburn” style; on others, it can be more of a “Cara Delevingne” grunge. But no matter the style genre it is always 100 percent me. In short, I would like to think my style is all encompassing.
If my style seems a bit confusing, maybe this can help. My three favorite pieces in my closet are my pixie trousers, my desert boots and my worn-out denim jacket (sometimes I like to wear all three at the same time).
Even though my style is a bit confusing at times, my goals for my future are crystal clear. It is my dream to work for a fashion magazine as the PR representative. I am very fortunate to spend the summer working toward my goal with CollegeFashionista.
