It’s interesting when your whole life you told yourself you would do something with fashion. But did you ever think that you would end up interning for a company such as CollegeFashionista? I didn’t think so either. Over the past summer semester, I have learned so much! I have learned how to take pictures from a certain angle, how to make sure that your hand has to be placed a certain way (sounds weird, I know), but in order to be successful in anything, you have to put your best hand forward. I have learned so much about writing and how it is important to be as detailed as possible, not only writing, but in fashion, as well. How you dress and present yourself as a person makes a big difference, whether it be for an interview or you are taking a trip to the supermarket. Life is about being detailed and putting your best foot forward.
I always believed that I would be a successful business woman in the fashion industry, and I am sure I will fulfill those dreams. With the help of CollegeFashionista and its wonderful team, I am only seeking to gain more experience my second semester. I had an amazing time writing and laughing while taking pictures with my models. Fashion has always been a part of who I am. Clothing, accessories and makeup have always seemed to excite me. I am the girl who carries piles of clothes at the store, but ends up buying only two. Why? Because I’m picky and precise with every outfit I put together. When you look good, you automatically feel good. Fashion isn’t about following the latest trends. It’s about finding who you are and putting those unique pieces together.
I have precisely put together a simple, yet comfortable maxi dress with elephant tribal detailing, something that I find to be unique. I always try to find things that nobody else possesses. Along with the dress, I wore a silver cuff with dangling chains. I always believed in keeping your eye makeup simple and adding a bright color to your lips. I wore a pop of pink for the summer.
