Bem vindos Fashionistas/os! I am super excited to be a Style Guru for another semester as I had an amazing time interning for CollegeFashionista this summer. Fashion has become one of my greatest passions and I am so happy to be able to write about new trends and diverse styles around college campuses.
To tell you a little about more about myself, I am a Brazilian passionate about my life and family. I have been moving to different countries and states since I was born, which might explain my love for traveling and exploring the world. I was born so far from where I am today so I guess I am on my way home! Wherever I go, I always try to incorporate a little bit of the places’ fashion and culture into my looks. I then describe my style as feminine and culturally diverse. I also just like to go with the flow and wear whatever I feel like wearing each day. The fun thing about fashion is that you can have so many personalities and styles but still be yourself. I also have my own blog, The Brightest Summer, in which I give many fashion and traveling tips. It has become one of my greatest hobbies and I just enjoy being able to truly express myself through my passions.
I don’t always look for what is trending. You don’t need to have the latest clothes and accessories to have a sense of style. Plus, I like to wear what makes me feel comfortable and confident—and that is what I like to write the most about. I love to see Fashionistas/os who have individuality and are truly confident rocking their looks. It is so inspiring!
The look that I am wearing is very feminine, elegant and fun. I totally love this ice cream detailed skirt and I thought it was perfect for a summer walk through the gardens of Labyrinth Park in Barcelona, Spain. I matched it with a baby pink cropped top to bring out the summer feel to the outfit and I thought these light green heels perfectly matched the style of the look. I then finished it up by wearing this detailed clutch to bring some more fun into the outfit. I usually like adding an accessory/ piece of clothing that brings full attention into my attire. Don’t be afraid to get out of the ordinary.
I know it was really brief, but I hope you were able to get to know a little bit more about me, that you enjoy reading my posts this fall and, of course, that you all have a wonderful semester full of happiness and style!
