Hello Fashionitas/os! My name is Sydney Estes, and I attend the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I am currently a freshman pursuing a degree in fashion design. I’m also minoring in fibers and minoring in fashion marketing/ management. I cannot wait for my first semester as a Style Guru and to help share my passion with you all!
I originally wanted to pursue a career in interior design, but while at SCAD I found that fashion was calling my name. I fell in love with Savannah because of the weather, and I get to walk downtown to see all the different fashion statements. I have always loved everything about clothing and fashion for as long as I can remember! At almost every moment of every day, I’m doing something that has to do with fashion. In my spare time, I love to draw and take photos of people.
I think an outfit tells a lot about a person, and I always leave the house put together in a fantastic outfit! I spend about an hour every day picking out my outfit and styling it with great accessories. Your outfit is an outlet to express yourself and how you want to present yourself to the world!
My fashion style leans more towards preppy-chic and my typical outfit usually consists of skinny jeans, a nice blouse or striped shirt and heels or Jack Rogers.
