Being a California girl living in the Rocky Mountains, my aesthetic has become a mash-up of many types of styles. Think of Vanessa Hudgens at the Coachella Festival ending up in snowy Aspen–a little out of place, right? Although I do love my pastel colors, black is my favorite color. You can dress it up, down, wear it during any season and everyone looks good in it! You can never have too much black in one outfit. Wearing all black with statement accessories screams “I’m keeping it simple, while still looking classy”.
If you need one item in your closet for this summer, a romper is the perfect choice. The amazing thing about rompers is you can look cute while being comfy–something that doesn’t happen for us girls very often! They are an easy on-the-go outfit that requires little time and effort since you don’t need to go through the trouble of piecing items of clothing together. My go-to summer look is a romper whether it’s long sleeve or sleeveless, and to pair it with some suede booties and a statement necklace. Booties are my current obsession and frankly I believe they always will be. For all you short girls out there like me, it shows off your legs without having to go through the pain of wearing those ridiculously tall pumps.
