Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Talia, and this is my first time as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru. I couldn’t be more excited! Let me further introduce myself. Right now, I am entering my senior year at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I major in fashion business management. I’m from New York but not the New York, New York with big buildings and bright lights that everyone automatically thinks about when you say your’re from New York. Upstate New York is more like it. Although breathing fresh air is nice, being in the Big Apple is like no other. The people, the style and the constant craziness has helped shaped me into the person I am today.
My main interests are fashion (of course), coffee, Sunday brunch, cute cafés, dogs, shopping, makeup and sleeping in. The list could go on and on. Do I sound basic? I promise I’m not. Since I spend a lot of my time in NYC, I am heavily influenced by the fashions I see everyday whether its on the streets, in magazines or at school. All of these factors have shaped the style I have developed, which I wouldn’t give a specific name to. I wear anything from western chic, to more sophisticated, to grunge. No matter what my influence is, I always take the style and make it my own.
