Hello, everyone. My name is Tamiracle Williams, and I am currently a senior at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. I am majoring in mass communication with a concentration in journalism and media studies.
I was born and raised in a small town called Lake Wales, Florida, but going to school in St. Pete has truly impacted my style. After experimenting with beauty and fashion trends my first two years of college, I have finally found a style that is my own.
I have self-appointed myself as the queen of comfort because I love finding cute ways to style joggers, rompers, and T-shirts dresses. I firmly believe that comfort doesn’t have to be compromised when trying to look chic.
For this featured look, I went with something I can constantly be found wearing. I wore a baggy white T-shirt–I wish the shirt I wore was as cute as the distressed white T-shirt that I linked to–and black leggings with a pair of black Ecentrcq, slip-on sneakers from Steve Madden. During one of the few cold days of Florida “winter”, I layer this look with a chambray shirt.
This particular look is one of my personal favorites. I’m constantly on the run with school, work, and campus events, so it’s important that I am comfortable and able to move around. The small, black bag allows me to carry my personal items around without the fear of it getting in my way.
Becoming a Style Guru means the world to me because I get to combine my two of my passions, photography and social media. Currently, my favorite social media sites are Snapchat and Instagram. In the future, I hope to become an entertainment reporter or a social media editor for a beauty and fashion magazine. It’s a dream of mine to work at Cosmopolitan.
Something I like to do in my free time is explore. St. Pete has so much to offer from fashion to art, and I am determined to see it all (well as much as I can) before I graduate this summer. My favorite part of St. Pete is the murals. They are gorgeous and make a great background for Instagram photos.
