I have loved being apart of the Style Guru team with CollegeFashionista, especially with having the advantage of living in the city. Fashion is everywhere here in New York City. I look forward to walking outside everyday and seeing everyones sense of style.
When living in New York, you find all types of interesting people, as well as their interesting fashion sense. Every day a new outfit is worn; it can portray an emotion that person may be feeling. And that’s what I love about fashion: you can speak your mind without really saying a word.
As for my style; it most definitely has changed over the corse of interning with CollegeFashionista. It honestly just depends on where I’m going and how I’m feeling. Trust me, it is one of the hardest things in the world to look at a pair of sweatpants and put on jeans. My style is usually casual. Zara is where I purchase most of my shoes. I always feel they are the best quality for the price you pay. These leather ankle boots are my usual go-to.
I also hate wearing bras, so I try to find the most comfortable bras to wear. Urban Outfitters has my favorite lace bras, which can even help make the outfit more chic.
Lastly, any outfit that doesn’t always feel complete can always be accessorized. I usually don’t wear jewelry so I like to accessorize with belts. This double buckled belt is being worn by everyone this season. I recommend getting your hands on one of these.
No matter what, you’re always going to find me well-dressed and ready to impress.
So get ready—New York street style is coming your way, people!
