Greetings fashion lovers! My name is Taylor Bell and I am ecstatic to start my summer off as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru. My obsession with fashion started at a young age. From picking out my outfits at the age of five to binge watching America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway, I knew that I had a passion for fashion. In high school, I expressed myself through my clothes. I followed all the trendy social media accounts such as Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Kylie Jenner’s Instagram so that I could be the trendsetter of the school. Everyone around me could see that I was addicted to clothes, shoes, designers and everything revolving around the fashion industry. I loved creating outfits and looks so much that my friends would make me style them for parties and other events.
Nowadays, my love for fashion has grown even fonder. I work at a fun and trendy retail store where I have the opportunity to help customers find the best accessories and shoes to complement their outfits. I also attend the University of Louisville, where I will be a junior communication major in the fall. Because Louisville is one of the most urban areas of Kentucky, there is inspiration everywhere. From the edgy and indie style downtown to the chic and colorful style in the east, Louisville is thriving with creativity and vibrancy that I can’t wait to share!
