As a young girl, if you asked me what I wanted to be when I got older, I would always respond by telling them I wanted to be a fashion designer. Looking through my childhood drawings you could find my ideas for cheerleading uniforms, prom dresses and so much more. Fast-forward 13 years, and not much has changed, except now I am working my hardest to make my childhood dreams into my reality. Currently on my path to success, I am studying fashion design at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York and of course interning at CollegeFashionista!
Fashion design at Marist College is especially rigorous and I am so excited to spend this summer break traveling, relaxing, enjoying fun in the sun and looking at all of the fun summer trends!
My style can either be very grungy and casual or very flirty and girly with no real in between. This current outfit reflects my feminine side, with a cute black and white A-Line style dress. I especially love this dress because of the cool all over tribal pattern. I think that it adds a bit of edginess to an overall very girly dress. As usual I keep my accessories very simple with a pair of rhinestone drop earrings, a simple angel charm necklace and my rose gold Michael Kors watch. For shoes, I decided to wear a pair of black strappy Guess sandals.
I can’t wait to share looks that I see throughout my summer travels with all of you!
