Hey fellow Fashionistas!
My name is Taylor and I am currently a sophomore at Canisius College in Buffalo. It’s true what they say, there’s “snow” place like Buffalo! I am studying fashion merchandising/ marketing which is a 3+1 program with The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. This means that I spend three years at Canisius and one year at F.I.T. which I am super excited about! I am truly eager to start my CollegeFashionista journey and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
My first time visiting New York City, I absolutely fell in love with fashion. As a little girl being in a huge city looking around, and seeing all these fabulous carefree people wearing whatever style fit them best was so empowering to me. From then on, I have always felt that no one truly has one certain fashion label. The most fun and incredible thing about fashion is that it is always changing. I believe if you feel confident and like something then wear it, be original and be you! My style often reflects my mood and can be anywhere from grunge to elegant. I always manage to go over the top for every event that I go to but, what can I say, I just really like to find the perfect outfit! I’ve really learned that owning your outfit is so important for self confidence.
It was about 20 degrees while taking these pictures, so for this look I had to try and stay warm! I have on my favorite detailed bomber jacket, a simple white T-shirt and my go to pair of black jeans! I paired it with my burgundy thigh-high boots and my beloved Kate Spade bag.
