Hello everyone, my name is Taylor Thomas and I hail from Atlanta, Georgia! I am currently a Junior at the illustrious University of Florida where I am balancing being a Telecommunications major, a campus leader and a Style Guru of course!
Fashion and styling are definitely some of my biggest passions, dating back to my preteen years. I have continued to explore fashion throughout my college career and I’m sure it will continue into adulthood. My reliance on fashion and being well—dressed stems from my lack of confidence growing up. Although I haven’t always been very confident in myself, I have always been uber confident in my attire. By utilizing my style as a platform to build my self—esteem, I can truly say at the age of 20 I am a woman that has self—assurance in my beauty, brains and personal fashion!
I would describe my style as girly, chic, classic and sexy all rolled into one. I have learned what suits my body type and makes it appear most flattering, which is half the battle in fashion. Although I believe fashion is about taking risks, I tend to stick to what I know. Don’t get me wrong, one of my favorite challenges is evolving or recreating an old look.
Being a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista will be my first internship where I will produce my own original content about something that I absolutely love. I am excited to see what great fashions I will write about and hope you stick this ride out with me, one heel at a time!
