Bonjour mes beaux Fashionistas/os! Welcome, my name is Tiffany Gregoire, and I am currently majoring in English with a concentration in Professional Writing, Rhetoric and Technology in addition to a minor in General Business at the University of South Florida. This will be my second semester writing as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru, and I anticipate that this semester will be as incredible as the previous, perhaps even better.
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by all things fashion and style. As a fashion aficionado, I find inspiration from every aspect of the style and fashion world while making an effort to incorporate these aspects into my living space and my everyday wardrobe. Fashion and style is an art form that is showcased through our countless outfit changes and based on living environments. It is apparent that style is a universal language where everyone can convey his or her own unique sense of style across the globe, whether you’re rocking the current trend or staging your animated personality through an ensemble.
Fall/autumn has two sides: the bright side and the dark and dreary side. The fall season is a time where the leaves are shedding off trees, the temperature cools down and Fashionistas/os can play around with layers. Let’s not forget about Halloween, the one time of year it’s okay to go wild, dress as your alter ego and let your freak flag fly.
My own style could be described as preppy, feminine and classic while also incorporating distinctive finds, pops of color and the occasional hint of edge. I ensure that my kooky personality and admiration of Europe is expressed through my outfits, accessories and living space. Over the years as my fashion, style and shoe curiosity/infatuation blossomed, I have been drawn towards style icons such as Reese Witherspoon, Emma Watson, Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as numerous fashion and style bloggers and icons across the globe.
For this look, I’m wearing a pair of American Eagle Outfitters midi shorts and a classic coral tunic top. I paired this classic yet casual outfit with a pair of American Eagle Outfitters slide sandals, kate spade new york scallop-edged tote, a simple geometric necklace and some personalized leather bracelets purchased in Dominica.
I am thrilled to be back interning at CollegeFashionista for a second semester, where I will dip my toes further into the world of fashion and fashion blogging. Thank you for reading, grab your boarding pass and join me along with my fellow fashionistas/os for a trip chockfull of college fashion.
