Hello college Fashionistas! My name is Veronica Garcia, and I am a 21-year-old senior at San Diego State University majoring in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. I will be graduating in May, and I could not be more excited for what the future has in store! Throughout the years, my love for fashion and trends has really flourished, which is what prompted me to start a fashion blog. I decided to name my blog Sunday Threds, and ever since, it has been a place where I can freely express my personal style with friends and family members. I am a returning Style Guru and can say that CollegeFashionista has allowed me to interact with fashion lovers all over the country, which I love!
To me, dressing to the latest trend isn’t necessarily owning high end brands and expensive items but simply finding things that define who you are and rocking them! Some of my favorite stores to shop at are Forever 21, H&M, Zara and Steve Madden, just to name a few. As a college student working part-time, these stores allow me to stay within my budget and keep me looking trendy all year long without spending a fortune, which I love!
Today I decided to wear this graph-pattern dress (that is very festive and elegant), with a wool, navy green coat and my favorite piece of the outfit: black over-the-knee boots. It was so cold yesterday, but wearing these boots is honestly almost like wearing pants because they are so long! I love them because they were much more affordable compared to other styles out there that we’ve seen on the runway and celebrities, and the small heel adds height without being uncomfortable, allowing me to get more use out of them. To tie the whole look together, I threw on my go-to black bucket bag.
I’m excited to be behind the camera lens once again and scour my campus in search for individuals who share this passion and love for fashion! Be sure to follow me to keep up with the latest fashion trends in San Diego! Here’s to a RAD semester!
