Hello to all my new Fashionista/o friends! My name is Victoria Bell and I currently attend Georgia State University for Pre-Marketing, but am in the midst of transferring to the University of Georgia to major in Fashion Merchandising. This is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, and I am so excited to grow with this internship and be inspired by everyone’s posts.
I have always loved fashion ever since I was a kid. This might sound cheesy, but it’s the honest truth! When I was younger, my dream was to become a fashion designer. I remember once trying to create a dress out of wrapping paper and bubble wrap with my friend when we were bored. I would always sketch outfits thinking I was super creative, but I then realized that I had more fun putting outfits together rather than creating the designs themselves. Thus I realized that I wanted to become a fashion stylist. My dream job would be to work as a stylist for NYLON Magazine (what girl wouldn’t?), yet I would love to work as a fashion buyer as well.
I’m always at a loss when trying to describe my style, and that would maybe have to do with the fact that it can change at times. For the most part I would say I like to dress comfortable and cool. This sounds good right?  I also dress in a way that reflects my personal interests, whether that be inspiration from my favorite TV shows and movies to my never-ending fascination with outer space. When I’m not walking around in some type of flatform, you can find me in some awesome sneakers like the new Nike Huarache’s I just picked up. I love the coloring of these shoes and they remind of Marvin the Martian from the Looney Tunes. I’m also obsessed with pins like my newest Twin Peaks Cooper pin, and vintage-looking patches like the ones adorned on my alpha industries bomber jacket.
I hope this post gave some background on me, and am so excited to be apart of CollegeFashionista for the summer. I can’t wait to showcase the amazing style I come across on campus each day!
