Hi, hello, hey! My name is Victoria Glass, and I am thrilled to write for CollegeFashionista this semester! I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University, studying journalism and obsessing over everything and anything fashion-oriented.
You could say I’ve had a passion for fashion for quite some time now. Since the age of gauchos, one of my favorite pastimes has consisted of people watching and inspecting every outfit that passes by. What do I like about that outfit? How would I make that look my own? These are just a few of the many thoughts that have run through my head, analyzing nearly every trend. From Juicy Couture tracksuits to crop tops to leather jackets; Lilly Pulitzer to Free People to Zara, my closet has truly seen it all.
I am a big believer in the saying, “Forget the rules: if you like it, wear it.” My wardrobe is constantly rotating. I always have a couple items that I love, and I find a way to incorporate them into every outfit until I move on to new favorites. My current obsessions are my bomber jacket, fluffy sweaters, and over-the-knee boots. I would describe my style as trendy-chic, but like the quote says: if I like it, I wear it.
As white snowflakes fall from the sky and our runway fills with white sparkles, it’s officially time to bundle up and strut a little faster in order to stay warm. My favorite combo can be seen above—a pair of booties, distressed jeans, and a jacket. For this look, I paired my leather jacket with a turtleneck for extra layers to stay cozy warm. To spruce it up, I threw on my favorite pair of “mom jeans” and a gold choker.
While we bundle up for the winter and eventually shed our layers for spring, I look forward to sharing with you my favorite fashion trends, tips, and ideas! Follow my Instagram for updates on my posts and to keep up with all my current fashion obsessions!
