Hello fellow Fashionistas! My name is Yashua Edwards and I am a junior attending Cincinnati State, majoring in journalism. Now, my interest in fashion didn’t come until my last two years of high school when it suddenly dawned on me how bland my school uniform was. I remember adding pops of color whenever I could. I loved fashion ever since. As I got into my college years, I struggled with my major. Why writing didn’t come to me as a profession immediately is beyond me, but I am glad I discovered it’s more than just a hobby for me. I am also glad that I get to pair writing with fashion.
Fashion is a form of self-expression and I love to do that through clothing. I describe my style as trendy with a dose of free spirit. I like to take trends and give them my own personal touch. Yes, I like to try other styles but trendy with my own interpretation is my go-to! Writing is another marvelous way to be creative and show off your personality. I came to figure out that I love to be witty and jovial when I write, which are two major qualities of my personality. Putting fashion and writing together for me makes me very happy and excited.
The outfit I put together for this look came to me when I was much more tapped into my trendy side. I took my favorite white crop top and paired it with distressed boyfriend jeans from Aeropostale. I than added a green casual jacket and choker. To tie this look together, I put on a pair of black booties, these particular pair of booties I can not stop wearing, I’m obsessed.
