Being from the Big Apple means witnessing some riveting authentic trends every single day. I’m pretty honored to be living in a city filled with opportunities and creativity that never fails to expand my vision and dreams.
As a signed model with Bicoastal Model Management in NYC, you would think I’d be wearing Roberto Cavalli heels everyday with Bottega Veneta sunglasses on my head, but I think a pair of cute comfy slip-ons and a denim jacket will do. I’ve always been more of the simple, comfortable, minimalist type when it comes to fashion.
Personally, I feel like less is definitely more and you can easily make a bold statement with the right accessories and colors. With this look, I was able to pair a basic black purse and my favorite white and gold Charlize watch to give it a little more color. Living in the northeast means having to deal with cold weather…and lots of it. I don’t mind it, I actually enjoy the cold a lot more than the heat. Even though its almost June, the chilly weather still persists which explains why I’m sticking to wearing my Merona denim jacket and fuzzy sweater top. Oh, and lets not forget the comfy adidas slip-ons.
I’ve always dreamed of working in the fashion industry and there’s no better feeling than being a go-getter and chasing your dreams no matter how challenging it may be. I’m so thrilled to be a part of this growing fashion community and can’t wait to see where this road takes me. Stay #RAD!
