My love of clothes and fashion definitely stems from my mother, I one-hundred percent was a tomboy growing up but I always loved watching my mom dress up for work or an outing with my family. She always dresses to impress and I like to think I am the same way.
I went to an Arts Academy in downtown Dallas for high school, it allowed me to flourish and truly be myself growing up. I went through so many styles and stages as all teenagers do and was accepted no matter what I chose to rock, I think the freedom to experiment so much gave me the confidence I have now to rock my style and wear whatever I want to. I believe that people should wear whatever makes them happy and comfortable.
As you will probably see throughout the semester I am a lover of anything denim and cropped everything. My style is inconsistently consistent. I like to keep people on their toes and never want to wear what someone would expect me to wear. I guess you can say that I like the element of surprise when it comes to personal style and fashion.
I am super excited to go on this journey as a Style Guru and can’t wait to see what opportunities are opened and how much I will grow personally.
