Crop tops, leather jackets, denim pants and platform shoes all made it on Dsquared2’s resort 2017 runway show. The clothing seen in the Dsquared2 runway show were a tribute to the resent attack in Orlando and was said to be a celebration of homosexuality. A lot of inspiring outfits jumped out at me when going through all the looks. The main look of the runway show was London-themed with punk rock. Â From facial piercings to wide-shouldered tops, many different fashion statements were made in the runway show.
I had a lot to work with when creating my outfit inspired by The Dsquared2 runway show. My favorite to get to work with was leather; it always seems so classic to me to throw in some leather in an outfit, whether it be as a jacket or even a pair of leather pants.  The platform shoes were also a piece of the runway show that I brought into my look. I switched up my look with a pair of platform boots rather than the platform sandals that are seen in the runway show. I also went with a pair of tight, ripped jeans rather than the bulky pants featured in the runway show.
When picking out my outfits I really like to mix up the textures of fabric, it adds interest and spunk. Leather and denim are my go-tos when looking for texture to flair up my look.
