Daks by Fillipo Scuffi created a perfect look for their fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. Each look has its own modern style with a vintage twist, inspired from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Scuffi got creative and even made masculine reproductions of the women’s styles. However, what I loved most was how uniquely color-blocked every outfit was that created a theme throughout show.
So I decided to try the look out for myself. I wanted to recreate one of the all-black looks, perfect for a night out or even if you’re feeling preppy for class. You can never go wrong with all black as long as you make sure each shade matches one another.
I substituted the zip-up jacket for a turtleneck cotton dress. This way I was able to show off my outfit indoors but at the same time had the option of putting a jacket on to stay warm. To add my own personal touch with my love for all things sparkly, I put on black tights with rhinestones. The black laptop case acts as a stylish purse but is perfect for carrying everything you need for class in an organized manner. Finally, the black leather boots add class and are perfect for keeping your feet dry and warm when the weather’s bad.
Even when keeping it simple with one color you can take your outfit to the next level. Black paired with leather always looks classic. Remember, have fun when recreating your own looks and feel free to add sparkles or your own personal touch!
