On rainy days in Athens (so basically all the time) it’s time to put on something that’s super fun to combat the gloom. So, that’s exactly what I did for this look featuring a fun Lazy Oaf eye furface dress. I mean, with a slogan like “Keeping it weird since 2001” every collection from the brand is spectacular. All hail Lazy Oaf! This dress is definitely not something you see everyday! With a pair of embroidered cartoon eyes on a cloud of fluffy red knit, this dress instantly puts me in a better mood. What draws me to this dress is that it’s so unique, which is something I strive to achieve in an ensemble. Whenever I’m wearing an outfit I know is distinctive, one of a kind, and a little peculiar, I feel totally confident. What can I say? I like to stray from the norm.
This outfit is basically if Elmo had a “glow up” and suddenly went from shopping at Hollister to wearing UNIF. To accessorize this look I paired it with some Dr. Marten chelsea boots, a denim jacket, and showed off my tattoo to add a little bit of edginess. Plus I’ll let you in on a secret: this outfit is as comfortable as it looks! Honestly though, it feels like I’m wearing a blanket, so what’s not to love? The cartoon eyes and texture complement the longer, fitted silhouette which adds an element of maturity. To top off the look I threw on some fluffy earrings I made and a multitude of simple rings. Regardless of what stupid boys think of it at parties (what do they know anyway?), I’ve got my eye on this outfit.
