It’s summer, finally! Time for long days at the beach, bike rides, reading a good book, making more memories with your friends and you can’t forget that it’s also time to find out all the new summer trends. Even though most designers are already having their shows for 2017, let’s talk about two of them who brought being a princess to life through fashion in their fall collection.
Turning fantasies into reality is one of the fascinating things that happened during the Dolce&Gabbana fall ready-to-wear 2016 collection. This collection inspired me because ever since I was younger, I dreamed of being a Disney Princess. The pieces of this collection ranged from dresses that resembled the mice helping Cinderella, to her blue ball gown, to the coats that Prince Charming was wearing and more! Every piece made by Stefano Gabbana Domenico Dolce was reminiscent, eye-catching and nothing short of beautiful.
Girls run the world! Especially in this outfit, the outfit shows that you’re all about business but still down to have a little fun. I love the color black and if it’s all-black, then I need to get my hands on it. The military vibe is my favorite part of this outfit, so I felt that I needed to bring that back to life with an Express embellished military jacket. Secondly, I wore all black, high-waist Jamie jeans from Topshop, and to top off this outfit I decided that my glass slippers were a pair of red Steve Madden heels and I accessorized with some gold bracelets from Topshop’s jewelry collection. I tried to keep it simple and classy, but catch the essence of a fairy tale Prince Charming. You can rock this outfit to an important business meeting, a lunch at a cute restaurant or even a casual dinner. Also, try pairing it with a white skirt to dress it up a bit more with some sandals or flats with a chic clutch for a girls night out.
