If you read my bio you know that I usually have a more relaxed style. However, cold weather means it is time to layer up. This can be hard to do for some of us Fashionistas because not all practical (or warm) coats are stylish. Thankfully for us, faux fur coats are an essential again.
For this outfit I mixed a few looks together. First, I paired a plain white turtleneck with some classic black jeans. If I could wear these jeans everyday, I would, and same goes for the classic white long sleeve turtleneck. I am so ecstatic that turtlenecks are back, so these are definitely some staples in my own wardrobe.
To layer up and stay warm, I paired the jeans and long sleeve with a lined faux fur coat. This coat has also become a staple in my wardrobe because you can use it to add some flare to any outfit. The color is also great for adding contrast to a primarily monochromatic outfit. Fur coats have become popular again and I am so glad that I can add this piece to my wardrobe.
Finally, I accessorized. I don’t usually accessorize much, but I always feel so much more put together when I add a choker or bracelet to my outfit. For this outfit, I wore a black leather strapped watch and a gold chain. Gold chains may seem more masculine than feminine, but again, I think it is a great piece to add some flare to almost any outfit.
Cold weather means layering up and trying to stay warm. Make sure to pick up a faux fur coat from a thrift store near you and you’ll be sure to stay warm, and fashionable all year long.
