In the summer, prints are always a must have. Floral and tribal print are always the first to come to mind when it comes to prints, however I think prints are a must have for the summer. Why? It’s easy to take a basic piece, such as a pair of plain shorts, but you have the ability to dress it up with a fancy top. They are versatile, and they can come in different styles, colors and places. Prints can appear in a variety of places from sundresses to T-shirts.
Prints are a big component to the Emilio Pucci 2016 resort collection. The collection has every kind of print you can imagine, from floral to tribal. They appear on a variety of clothing items-from dresses to shirts. Each of the pieces in the collection are must haves for effortless summer style, whether you are spending the summer by the pool, working at a summer job or internship or taking a summer class.
My look is inspired by this collection, but I’ve made a few changes to make the look my own. I’ve taken a print linen T-shirt, and paired it with a pair of denim shorts. The shorts, although plain, are the perfect canvas to let the print in my T-shirt stand out. Boat shoes add a preppy touch to the outfit. For a finishing touch, I accessorized this look with a ceramic brown watch, silver rings, an elephant bangle bracelet and a silver Hamsa necklace.
