One of my favorite parts of summer is going to art shows. My parents are part time artists so they have about three shows over the summer. I love to go, see the fashion, walk around and find cool trinkets for my room or wardrobe. For this outfit, I was very much inspired by the bright colors and bold black and white prints used in Emanuel Ungaro’s resort 2017 collection. My outfit was cool, breathable and trendy.
My favorite part about my outfit was the accessories because I love the shoes I am wearing. The two-strap slide sandals are my go to for any occasion. They can be dressed up or dressed down, get dirty or be cleaned and go from day to night. Most importantly, they are very comfortable. Along with my bright green slider sandals, I sported some major ear candy. With a total of 12 ear piercings, I love to show off a little extra sparkle especially when the studs catch the light just right.
The biggest key in dressing for art shows is dressing to keep cool. The sun warms up quick and with little to no shade, that makes for a scorcher of a day. My shirt was light and breathable so when the wind blew, I got a nice relief from the heat. My skirt had two thin layers to it, the first layer would blow up slightly with the wind, but the second layer stayed down. This was a great call considering the weather.
My recommendation to you is to see what local art shows are going on around you and check them out. You never know what you may find. If you’re lacking a good outfit to wear,
