It’s finally that time of the year! If this is also your favorite season you know what I’m talking about. It’s the season where it’s neither too cold nor too hot and it’s the perfect time for a nice warm cup of tea or hot chocolate. It’s that time of the year when the leaves are changing color. That’s right, I’m talking about fall. I think winter is overrated—most specifically Christmas. Autumn is “the most wonderful time of the year”.
I love autumn not just because of the climate and the hot beverages, but because it’s the best time to let your inner Fashionista shine. You can layer and create cute outfits that are perfect for the not too hot or cold weather. Today I decided to create such a look for you. The goal is to achieve a look that is effortless, chill and cute.
Like I said you can’t have fall without layering. This is why I took a long dress and paired it with an oversized sweater. Now you don’t want to get too baggy with this look. The dress shouldn’t be too tight but it shouldn’t be as oversized as your outer layer piece. If you get easily cold like I do, then you might want to get those leather jackets out. Think about it, what better weather to wear your leather jacket?
For my accessories I picked up a cute beanie to keep me stylish and warm and an H&M bag which I hold near and dear to my heart. It was the last one in the store and I actually found it on sale. It was love at first sight. I kept my shoes comfortable and casual and had them my match my brown leather jacket. The color pallet I used for this outfit is autumn leaf inspired. You could also throw in a little bit of cypress green.
