As the new semester begins, the seasons are changing and winter fashion is in full effect. The season of winter means the temperature is dropping and snow has fallen on the ground here at The Ohio State University. This also signals those long three and a half weeks of winter break are over and now it is time to focus on classes.
I will say, last semester gave me so much confidence in knowing that being myself is the best thing I can be. I have gained so many new friends and my confidence level cannot be any higher than it is now. I can only feel that this new semester will be better than ever.
But before I can start the new semester, I must think to myself what are my winter fashion outfits going to be? Since I know January in Columbus is cold, I bring out sweaters, trench coats, fur ponchos and my favorite leggings. Plus adding a pair of cute boots to finish the outfit off are perfect for winter.
When shopping for my  wardrobe I came across this look, Ralph Lauren’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection and decided to put my own twist to it. The deep brown color has always been one of my favorite trends of the season and Ralph Lauren perfectly paired the fur vest with the brown pants to keep it at a narrow palette intensified the look even more. This showed Ralph Lauren does not miss a beat.
I simply paired a fur poncho with leggings, a white medium sized purse and a pair of booties to complete my night out with my girls outfit. What I love about this outfit is I was able to pair fur, glamour and comfort into one outfit. Fall to winter fashion is so easy to put together, but having inspirations is glamorous too!
