Commuting to New York City, I start my days early and finish them in the early evening. With this being said, I always look for new and exciting layering pieces. These items take me from the early colder mornings to the taste of the summer sun later in the afternoon. This spring, I have been gravitating towards picking up an easy neutral colored bomber jacket and layering it over pretty much anything.
Studying the Saint Laurent spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection, I stuck to a neutral color palette and utilized a leather bomber over my nude romper to give a more casual look in comparison to Saint Laurent’s use of sequins and a variety of pattern. I constantly look to Saint Laurent when styling my own outfits due to the new and exciting take on old favorites.
My outfit featured pieces from Mixology Clothing Company. The suede nude romper, and white high neck top stuck to the neutral color pallet that I love due to the colors always matching, as well as the ease of always looking put together. To add to the look, as well as keep me warm in the mornings I added my favorite staple, a black leather textured bomber. For accessories, I paired a nude cross-body bag, black lace-up flats as well as a fedora and sunglasses. The outfit is pulled together by the popular double buckle western belt which is another one of my current favorites for spring.
A bomber jacket can be styled in plenty of ways. From edgy to classic looks, almost everyone would love to have one hanging in their closet.
