There’s only one word that describes Acne Studios’ pre-fall 2015 collection: daring. The runway collection included looks composed of bold patterns such as Houndstooth checks and plaid, and classic colors like dark burgundy, forest green, chambray and beige. Materials such as leather, denim, and wool were paired together to create outfits that were offbeat and eccentric, yet resonated a classic feel. Through combining different colors, patterns, and fabrics, Acne Studios constructed a runway collection that had the perfect mix of grunge and professional.
My favorite look from the pre-fall 2015 collection was this look. Although the straight-fitted jacket and pleated pants pairing was on trend, the real eye-catcher was the model’s oversized blanket scarf. I used this piece as the prime inspiration for my outfit.
