Summer means adventure and adventure means discovering. As I am back in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, for break, I thought it would be perfect for me to venture around the small town and see what I have been missing out on the past 19 years. In order to do this, I started my bike tours along the outskirts of Sheboygan and participated in community gathering activities. Now, as I was discovering my hometown, I was also able to channel the girly side of my style.
After reviewing the KORS Michael Kors spring 2014 ready-to-wear collection, I was inspired to trade in my plain and bare T-shirts for girly and cute printed ones. In the spring collection, there were a variety of styles that consisted of white and neutral tones and adorable floral prints. In addition, there were also flowy, white and navy sheer-designed tops and skirts that caught my attention and left me wanting to try the stye out. All in all, IÂ admired how the collection was able to portray effortless, cute and fun looks that anyone can pull off.
The KORS Michael Kors spring 2014 ready-to-wear collection definitely influenced my style this summer. IÂ really enjoyed the color tones that were incorporated in the KORS Michael Kors collection. Therefore, in my outfit I decided to pair a bike-printed sheer white tee with a light wash cuffed jegging. Then, to pull off the effortless look, as displayed in the collection, I wore my boat shoes to neutralize the white and blue color combination. Lastly, I finished the look with a vintage, multicolored paisley scarf I turned into a headband.
Get My Look: 1. A cute graphic T-shirt. 2. Light wash jegging. 3. Boat shoes.
