The equivalent to the edgy all-black winter trend is a fresh all-nude summer outfit. The all-nude minimalist trend has taken over summer fashion and I’m completely in love with it. This trend is a way to feel put-together, fresh and elegant, without very much effort. Valentino’s fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection shows how an outfit with varying shades of nude and beige is quickly becoming this summer’s fashion must. The mixture of varying shades of nude colors creates an elegant look that can be morphed into bohemian, glamorous, polished or edgy; it all depends on the accessories that you choose to pair with it. This is also a perfect time to have fun with your accessories; nude shades really let statement jewelry shine without making it look like overkill.
I decided to take a more polished route with this trend and paired my nude T-shirt dress with nude heels. I kept my jewelry simple and stayed with mostly golden tones. My necklace may be simple but it is still attention grabbing, to liven up the plain dress; however, to make sure the outfit wasn’t too boring, I also added some golden and white bangles. This is something I would normally wear to a lunch out with my friends, or a casual summer date night. I love how this look took almost no effort, but made me feel confident, fresh and fashionable. This can easily be dressed up by adding a long blazer and sporting an up-do, or dressed down by adding some sneakers and a jean jacket.
