There are quite a few favorites from the fashion month I have. One of them is Givenchy’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. I am absolutely in love with this collection. It’s so sleek, polished and regal. It is the perfect mix of classic silhouettes and innovative details. That insane face jewelry is stunning, and the models’ hairstyles are pure art. Corsets, embellishments, cream, red and blue velvet, lace and fur—all of those gorgeous details make your head spin. Most of Givenchy’s looks are knee-length or longer. I was inspired by those beautiful blazers in the collection. The outfit that stood out to me was a long black blazer and pants with some lace peeking through, creating such a chic and empowering look.
My look is more simple, and I opted for a shorter version. I wore this black blazer as a dress, and I paired with a satin top that incorporated lace detailing underneath it. To make sure I wouldn’t flash anyone, I also wore black pajama-like shorts with lace trimming. I decided not to go for a lot of crazy (good crazy) face jewelry. I kept it simple with silver rings and added a silver chain since it is my favorite jewelry of all time. When it comes to hair, instead of sleek updo with curvy bangs, I chose soft curls, but a sleep bun would also look perfect with this outfit. A black and white purse and dark green pumps finished my whole look.
Get My Look:Â 1. A black blazer to wear as dress. 2. AÂ lace camisole underneath. 3. Dark green high heels.
