Just in time for spring, it’s time to get out your freshest pair of light blue jeans! These blue jeans instantly become your go-to for errand runs, week fun and being on campus. Pairing it with classics, you just can’t go wrong.
Virgil Abloh’s Off-White spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection nailed the classic look with blue jeans. Abloh used blue jeans and white shirts as his basis for the collection and built it up and down from there. The blue jeans would have a different look-some with patchwork, more fade and more distress. Each distressed detail was carefully thought out and brought together in a chic way. His collection can be dressed up and down, allowing so much versatilely.
Keeping his collection in mind for inspiration, I recreated his blue jeans and white shirt with what I had in my closet. My jeans fit the distressed criteria with plenty of rips and strings. I wore a white tank top with it and topped it off with one of my favorite lighter flannels. This was my spin on the look since I love my flannels. To add to the look, I wore layered necklaces and a couple rings. For shoes, I ditched the runway heels for a more casual fit of slip-on sneakers with a quilted detail. The white platform details brings out the white T-shirt to complete the look. For me, this outfit makes the perfect chic outfit for spring and more nice weather!
