In the fall 2015 ready to wear presentation for Ulla Johnson, fringe, neutral tones and minimal prints were some dominant trends. Each look inspired me to want to reinvent my wardrobe. All the looks are really casual and have such a bohemian vibe going. I love how all these trends are seen separately and paired together in the fall 2015 collection, making them very versatile.
When styling my look today, not only was I inspired by the Ulla Johnson collection but also by the weather since I just came off of Spring Break. I spent a week in the warm sun, making me crave all things about summer. I could not be more excited about the styles for summer. It has been so warm, so I have been breaking out my tank tops and lighter sweaters. Even though the Ulla Johnson collection is for fall 2015 and showcases a lot of knits and warmer pieces, I really drew my inspiration from the hues of the clothing and the design aesthetics put into the collection.
The top I am wearing is a racerback tank top and would be perfect for a hot summer day paired with shorts and some gladiator sandals. I just recently purchased it from Target and it has easily become one of my new favorite tops. I decided to pair it with my favorite sweater for summer. It is a very lightweight cream sweater that is perfect to throw on for some extra warmth or even protection from the sun on those hot days. It seems to go with almost everything and can easily add that boho flair you are looking for.
When I look at this collection I instantly think of music festivals, which is another piece of inspiration I incorporated into my look today. Coachella is around the corner and what better way to get in the mood than to start wearing boho-inspired looks?
Ulla Johnson continues to be a source of fashion inspiration for me and with summer quickly approaching, I will be referencing their latest collection even more.
