Taking inspiration from alice + olivia’s resort 2016 collection, I combined loose boho- inspired pieces to create the look that’s perfect for lounging while on vacation yet easy to transform into a night out look.
As summer approaches, the music festival style becomes more and more present in the street style attire. This collection incorporates different patterns with neutral colors making this look easily achievable and even easier to recreate.
My look includes a Free People two patterned dress that I paired with a black lace bralette underneath. For shoes, I wore my Jeffrey Campbell Cromwell Distressed leather booties to add an edgy flair to the look that helped achieve the overall desired aesthetic. These boots transform the look from beachy to boho, especially with the embellishments that also help accent the accessories I paired with the dress. The statement necklace helps to pull the whole outfit together along with the assortment of bangles and rings, as each adds a polished touch.
For makeup, I stuck to earthy, warm tones to help accent the boho-chic look. My eye includes various shades of taupe and gold while I kept my face more fresh with a champagne highlight. I styled my hair in a middle part with looser waves to add to the more relaxed, beachy feel.
