It’s official everyone, I’m in love. Not with a person but with the staple that everyone needs to have in their closet: the bomber jacket. I recently purchased this adorable army green bomber and have barely taken it off since. This is the perfect piece because of how transitional it is.
Throw it on over a slip dress, pair it with your cutoffs and a tank this summer, or drape it over your shoulders to take your outfit to another level of edge. The best part about mine is the surprise pop of tangerine orange lining on the inside. I have yet to find an item like it that can be effortlessly worn in any season.
Here, I put together one of my go-to outfits because of how great it is to take it from day to night. It happened to be raining this day but that didn’t stop me from throwing on my favorite black ripped jeans that go so well with my oversize, cowl neck sweater. This top keeps me comfy-cozy on even the most dreary of days. To accessorize, I grabbed my gray suede cross body bag. I love how this bag includes not only a tassel on one side but a pompom on the other—which has been such a big trend this season that I  see getting bigger as warmer weather approaches.
Living in a sorority house with almost 50 girls means endless closets to raid, so to finish off this look I borrowed my roomie’s beloved black booties. I’m obsessed with these little booties and will definitely be investing in a pair. They provide an appropriate height for class but can also be amped up with a mini skirt for the night time. Overall they’re absolutely amazing!
If you’re not sold yet on the endless possibilities of what a bomber jacket could bring you go try one on and I guarantee you you’ll never want to take it off. Until next time, bombs away!
