Spring has arrived, but all I can think about is summer (seriously!). Although I’m living in Southern California, I always felt that there isn’t much of a difference transitioning from spring’s wardrobe to summer’s. Certainly, the only real difference is that the weather hits at higher levels, which means the lengths of dress, skirts or rompers are cut shorter. Most of the spring 2015 ready-to-wear collections have many inspiring looks that I feel like trying, and I was particularly fond of The Juicy Couture 2015 ready-to-wear collection. I felt that the collection really played up some colors and patterns that screamed summer. One particular look I thought was refreshing was this one. Its reddish silhouette with flowery patterns makes it feel breezy. Its long canvas can make the summer nights feel long and breezy.
For me, I prefer short dresses over long ones, due to my height and weight, and that’s why I chose this dress from Joie. It is loosely fit, yet shaped my frame nicely. I could not get over how comfortable this dress was. It was so easy to slip in and I felt like I could sleep in this dress. The dress itself is essentially perfect for beaches, but honestly can fit any of those social events. Its flower-stitched patterns come off minimal and can easily be matched with any pearl accessories. With that, I added a pair of dangling earrings to balance out the outfit . With a simple pair of diamond earrings, it can add a feminine touch to the outfit. To give off a summery vibe, I added a woven beach hat; a perfect way to to protect myself from the burning sun. For hair, I went for the natural beach waves that can be easily achieved simply by watching YouTube videos or reading Pinterest posts.
Get The Look: 1. Small diamond earrings. 2. Black heels. 3. A beach straw hat .
