Fall is coming to a close. However, that doesn’t mean this deep burgundy color is going anywhere. Burgundy has been a very popular color this fall and I’ve seen it everywhere on campus. I think that it is a wonderful color because anyone can pull it off and it makes any outfit stand out. Not only do I love to wear this color on my clothes, but it is the perfect color to wear on my lips as well. The deep shade is perfect for transitioning from fall to winter! I personally love this pair of burgundy jeans that I purchased at Old Navy. As a petite, I find it really hard to find jeans that fit me correctly and don’t make me look like I’m drowning in them. These jeans are specifically made for people my size, so when I tried them on I was very happy to notice that they fit me in all the right places.
I decided to pair these jeans with this off-white blouse with lace-like detailing. I’ve had this piece in my closet for a while and was actually considering giving it away, but after putting it on I’ve decided I’d like to keep it. The lace detailing on the blouse gives a very feminine and vintage feel, which I really like. If you look closely at it, it has a nice floral design on the cuffs, the neck and the back. I really like this piece because it’s very unique and classic, yet it could be paired with modern pieces. I also like how the blouse is cinched at the waist, giving me more of an hour glass figure.
If you were to take a look in my closet, you would notice that I have a lot of floral prints in my wardrobe. I feel like floral prints will always be in style because the print itself is very soft and feminine, which are the words I would use to describe my personal style. I often like trying on pieces that I usually don’t wear or see too often, and I absolutely love adding vintage pieces in my outfits because it can look very unique. Don’t be afraid to add vintage pieces into your modern everyday wear, it could help make your outfit look more classic, sophisticated and it could also help dress your outfit up.
