Fall is officially here and I’m sure Fashionistas all around the country cannot wait to bring out their sweaters, scarves and boots! I love fall fashion but before I do that, I’ve been enjoying the last few warm days of the season by wearing a staple in my wardrobe: a T-shirt dress.
I love how versatile T-shirt dresses are! When paired with the right accessories, they can be dressed up for a special event or dressed down for class. Once the weather cools down, I’ll definitely be pairing my T-shirt dresses with a cardigan, tights and riding boots. Whatever the occasion or season, a T-shirt dress is a classic clothing item that everyone should have in their closet.
I use classic pieces to demonstrate my personal style because they are timeless and easy to transition from outfit to outfit. To continue with the classic theme, I paired the dress with a beige statement necklace. This statement necklace in particular, I frequently wear because it dresses up any outfit. Getting a pair of comfortable nude flats is also a wardrobe staple and important investment. They go with just about any outfit and are something you will wear for so many events in the years to come. To finish this look, I chose gold jewelry, a simple cross-body bag that matches most outfits and a pair of big sunglasses for some added drama.
When going shopping, my advice is that you can never go wrong with classic pieces! You will get a lot of use out of them and they never go out of style!
