One of my true loves in life has always been J.Crew. Each season, they combine new exciting prints with classic, bright colors and styles. Putting a twist on a traditional piece is what J.Crew is known for. Everything from J.Crew can be worn time and time again and continues to be in style for years to come. Timeless looks and bold colors are what attract me to the brand and make me a loyal customer. The spring 2015 ready-to-wear show grabbed my attention because of it’s clean colors and fresh patterns. There are various looks in this collection that include chambray and seersucker, but there are also hints of sequins and tribal patterns. Textures of linen, chino and mesh make the looks interesting and unique. The color palette of this show is so clean and classic spring and summer, which is one of my favorite elements and my main focus for my look.
In my look, I added a crisp white color by wearing white denim and clear sunnies. My rose seersucker button-down gives a springtime feel to the look as well as adding to the fresh color aspect. Like the runway show, the outfit flows and has simplicity. The style of sunglasses mirrors the models’ almost perfectly, no pun intended. A simple pair of metallic sandals adds another element to the look, just as the collection did with their sequins and beaded features.
