As colder weather finally approaches, transition pieces become a necessity. I am not completely ready to say goodbye to summer, so I still try to keep my outfits as light and comfortable as possible. However, fall is my favorite season and I cannot wait to wear oversized sweaters and boots!
It is officially back-to-school time and comfort for every college student is the key to success. When I put this outfit on, my main goal was to be able to sit through class and go to the library without feeling uncomfortable. I achieved this goal through the simplicity of my outfit, but as a Fashionista I still managed to add style to a comfortable outfit.
From bottom to top I am wearing sneakers from Forever 21, leggings from Under Armour, a tank top from T.J. Maxx, and a denim jacket from Forever 21.
Even though this outfit is relatively simple, the different elements like the lace on my shirt and the denim material make it stylish. Also, the the black and white contrast of the tank top and leggings provides a flattering appearance.This outfit allows you to look presentable in front of peers and professors when coping with the stress of your studies.
The transition piece I am focusing on today is my denim jacket. This piece of clothing is essential for every Fashionista because not only is it a light jacket, it is also fashionable and can be paired with simply any outfit. For example, a denim jacket can go with pants, a skirt or even a dress. During this time of year, no one is ready to put on their winter jacket and investing in a jacket like this will keep you warm and not be overbearing.
Comfort can be fashion forward for every Fashionista as long as they know how to pair simple pieces together. Simplicity is key in times of transition, and as the weather gets colder, more pieces will be incorporated.
