We are in the middle of fall and the weather seems to be confused. It’s times like these where my fashion senses are all confused because one day you can be wearing a winter coat, and then the next day you can be wearing a dress with cute booties. While the weather tries to figure itself out, I’ll be over here trying to play with my favorite trends.
In Providence, Rhode Island, the weather ranges. When it’s a mix of both warm and chilly, I enjoy throwing on a maxi dress and hitting the road. The thing with maxi dresses is that they come off as if you took a lot of time to get ready but in reality, you threw on the dress while still eating your breakfast. This dress in particular is a statement, but, as you’ll learn, I love making a statement.
On this particular day, I wasn’t in the mood to get dressed. What I love about this dress is that it allowed me to look effortless due to its rustic pattern. I added a brown hat to cover up my second day hair, and paired the dress with taupe booties and gold accessories. I’ve recently fallen head over heels for anything that has green accents spread throughout. Green is my go-to color when it comes to trying to figure out what looks best on me.
Maxi dresses also have the ability to hide any type of food baby. With thanksgiving just around the corner, you can look forward to seeing me rotate just about every maxi dress I own. This fashion piece is going to be my go-to throughout the holiday season, and will last in my closet for a lifetime.
